Introduction to the Storymaster:
Tom McCormack has 23 years experience presenting stories from all genres. He has won international awards for his Native American Storytelling. His pioneer history character portrayals express balanced Native American perspectives and interactions. "Dreamspeaker" also plays music on a different ethnic instrument with each story from a different country.
His theatrical performances contain an assortment of colorful dialoging characters. He has developed an innovative "Stoetry" program that is a blend of poetry, story, lively music, and song segue.
Mr. McCormack performs the year around. From September 10th to June 10th, he schedules K-12 School Assembly performances.

Water Wonder Down-Under ~ Reading Into The Splash!
Come to the place where rivers, lakes and oceans flow together.... at the library. Jump head-long into the story theater of (SPLASH! WOSHH!) fun. This aqua-teller makes the water-creatures talk and come to life through dialoging characters. Tom play's music on lost Neptunian instruments of surprise and Ahhhww. (including the Atlantean water flute) Thats right, the aquatic creatures have made instruments for us.... and the kid's will get to play them! Then the story flow's through a viaduct....... as Tom teaches children the River Giver song, the Ocean Motion song, and the Lake Wake song.

Nature-Music and Singing
Children express laughmatical genius listening to theatrical Storytelling Music and Song. The Kid's will create positive Rap (using their hands and feet to create the beat), make real Rock Music (with rocks and sticks during the program!), and share a lively sing-a-long. Using animated depth, this storymaster applies a potpourri of dramatic tools that create windows for participation.
The tone settles down as the group shares in the joy of invention..... expressing creativity. Youth discover how the imagination prepares them to face the challenges they'll be encountering. Tom makes exciting book connections as the children read into the future.
Theatrical Hi-jinks inspire circle songs, square tales, and triangle poems that come to life. McCormack plays music on international ethnic instruments to evoke fascination and get the entire group involved. See why audience's laugh out of their seats and leave with cramps in their dimples.
